In 1942 leading French haute courtier, Madam Gres, established her company in Paris. Originally, the designer wanted to follow a sculptor path, however, she soon found her passion in couture fashion.
She was known to have designed pieces for well-known figures such as the Duchess of Windsor and Grace Kelly, the princess of Monaco at the time. After excelling in the fashion department, Madam Gres launched her first perfume Cabochard in 1959. Their later releases include Cabotine, Folie Douce, and Cabaret.
