Guy Laroche

Famous French designer Guy Laroche founded his own fashion house in 1957 creating fashionable ready-to-wear clothing. His practical haute-couture designs took the market by storm and he soon expanded his line. In 1966 Guy Laroche introduced his first women’s perfume, the sensual and floral Fidji, which was just the beginning of his powerful fragrance line.

The first men’s fragrance from Guy Laroche was 1972’s Drakkar, which was later eclipsed by its successor Drakkar Noir, in 1982. This stylish fougere fragrance for men has top notes of basil, bergamot and lemon, heart notes of coriander and jasmine and deep sensuous base notes of sandalwood, cedar, amber and vetiver. Drakkar Noir is beautifully put together and a great evening fragrance for the classic confident man.
