Kenzo

Innovative fashion designer Kenzo Takada was raised in a small town in Japan. Having found the desire to explore new horizons, Kenzo left home in 1964 filled with curiosity about distant cultures. He travelled the world, filling his sketchbook with an array of patterns, textures and vibrancy, which later inspired his colourful fashion designs and fragrances. Kenzo settled in the fashion capital of France making his mark on minimalist 1960’s Paris with his contrasting statement garments.

Infusing artistic and cultural trends inspired by his travels, Kenzo found great success in the fashion world. Known for staging themed parties in rented out castles, Kenzo’s events were always a hit complete with models, musicians and other celebrities A-listers. It’s no surprise his fragrances have become desired all over the world.

Kenzo expanded his fashion portfolio launching his debut fragrance Kenzo for Women in 1988. Since then, Kenzo has unveiled many refreshing feminine scents all a uniquely sophisticated and stylised story of nature. The collection includes international bestseller FlowerbyKenzo presented in a stunning, curved, poppy-inspired flacon, and Kenzo Armour with notes of white tea, rice, frangipani and heliotrope flowering at its heart.
